At The Bed Post, we're committed to providing you with quality beds and bedroom furniture you can trust. That's why every product we sell comes with a 12-month manufacturer's guarantee as standard, unless otherwise stated.


What's Covered

Your guarantee covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, including:

  • Manufacturing faults or defects present at the time of delivery
  • Structural failures of the bed frame or headboard
  • Defects in mattress materials or construction
  • Faulty mechanisms (e.g. on storage beds or adjustable bases)

What's Not Covered

The guarantee does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear over time
  • Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or improper assembly
  • Staining, soiling, or damage from liquids
  • Damage resulting from use of an inappropriate or unsupported base
  • Products that have been modified or repaired by a third party

How to Make a Claim

If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect, we're here to help. Please get in touch with us as soon as possible:

  • Visit us in store: Pop into our showroom at Surbiton, Kingston — we have over 40 beds on display and our friendly team will be happy to assist you in person.
  • Contact us online: Use our Contact Us page to send us a message with your order details and a description of the issue. Photos are always helpful!

We aim to respond to all enquiries promptly and will work with you and the manufacturer to resolve any issues as quickly as possible.
