The Hepburn bedstead can be ordered with your choice of a unique built-in pocket sprung base which is very rare to find on a bed frame in todays market. A pocket sprung base has many advantages over a standard slatted base as the base will cushion your mattress, profiling to your shape where the most pressure is exerted. This will dramatically increase the lifetime of the bed and will also offer superior support and comfort. The second option is a FSC certified timber slatted base which will offer a firmer platform for your mattress.
